ST. LAWRENCE TO HOST COMMUNITY DAY OCTOBER 9

CANTON -- Local residents are invited to participate in Community 
Day at St. Lawrence University on Saturday, October 9.
	The public is invited to tour the University's new facilities, 
which will be open all day. Guided tours will be provided for the 
following, at these times:
	- E.J. Noble University Center, 10 a.m., Director of Student 
Activities Anne Townsend
	- Owen D. Young Library, 10:30 a.m., University Librarian Bart 
Harloe
	- Augsbury Physical Education Center, 11 a.m., Athletics Director 
Margie Strait and Charles W. Appleton II Hockey Coach Joe Marsh
	- Brewer Bookstore, noon, Bookstore Manager Robert FitzRandolph
	- Dana Dining Center, 12:30 p.m., Director of Dining Services Cynthia 
Atkins
	The community will also be welcomed at an open house and tour of 
MacAllaster House, the president's home, at 54 East Main Street, from 
3 to 5 p.m.
