Second Annual 'Casino Night' For Charity At SLU April 4

CANTON - The St. Lawrence University chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority, with the Foundation for Community Betterment, will host its second annual Las Vegas-style casino night on Saturday, April 4, beginning at 7 p.m. on the third floor of the Student Center on campus. Tickets are $40 per person, or $25 with student I.D., and can be purchased online at www.communitybetterment.org. Price includes drink tickets, music, hors d'oeuvres, dessert buffet, playing chips, live entertainment and prizes. Attendees bringing canned goods for donation receive extra raffle tickets for the prize drawing.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Canton Neighborhood Center. Funds will go specifically to the community food bank, and to supplement services provided to low-income families in need of support.

The Foundation for Community Betterment is a national non-profit organization founded in 2000, with a goal of making an immediate, positive impact on the life of one individual or organization. It has raised and distributed over $800,000 since its founding.
