WELSH CHOIR TO PERFORM AT ST. LAWRENCE

CANTON -- The Cardiff Ardwyn Singers, an international concert 
choir from the capital of Wales, will perform at St. Lawrence 
University on Monday, April 16, at 8 p.m. in Gunnison Memorial 
Chapel. The event is open to the public, free of charge.
	Formed in 1964, the choir is known for its extraordinary 
musical and artistic quality. The repertoire is wide-ranging from 
Renaissance to 20th century music, and includes both Welsh and 
international folk songs. 
	The Cardiff Ardwyn Singers have toured extensively in North 
America, Western and Eastern Europe and the Caribbean. Following 
their appearance in Canton, they will perform in Ottawa, Kingston 
and Montreal, Canada.
