St. Lawrence University Candlelight Service December 12

CANTON - The 91st Annual Candlelight Service of Lessons and Carols will be held in Gunnison Memorial Chapel at St. Lawrence University on Wednesday, December 12, at 7 and 9 p.m.

The Christmas service is one of the University's longest held and most cherished traditions. Readings and choral music highlight the event, which culminates in the lighting of candles. It will be led by University Chaplain Kathleen Buckley and Associate Chaplain Shaun Whitehead; the public is welcome to attend.

Families with small children are encouraged to attend the earlier of the two identical services, and to sit in the front rows of the balcony.
