Canadian Studies Prof. Talks to NCPR About NAFTA

In light of President Trump's calls to renegotiate the North American Free Trade Agreement, or NAFTA, Robert Thacker, Dana professor of English and chair of Canadian studies, spoke to North Country Public Radio's Martha Foley about NAFTA and its impact on the North Country economy.

Despite the strong rhetoric coming out of Washington, Thacker says Trump does understand the importance of U.S.-Canadian trade to the American economy.
