WRITER BRENDA FLANAGAN IN ST. LAWRENCE WRITERS SERIES

CANTON - Author Brenda Flanagan will speak and read from her work in an appearance at St. Lawrence University on Wednesday, November 2, at 8 p.m. in Herring-Cole. The event, part of the St. Lawrence Writers Series, is open to the public, free of charge.

Flanagan is the author of You Alone Are Dancing, a novel, and In Praise of Island Women and Other Crimes, a book of short fiction. She has served as a cultural ambassador to Chad, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and most recently Panama. She teaches English at Davidson College.
