Third Annual 'Brain Blast' At St. Lawrence March 25

CANTON - St. Lawrence University biology, psychology and neuroscience students want you to be aware of something: your brain.

The University's third annual Brain Blast, held in celebration of Brain Awareness Week, will be on Friday, March 25, from 3 to 5:30 p.m. in the lobby of the Johnson Hall of Science on campus. It is open to the public, free of charge, and has fun, interactive displays that are aimed all ages.

Brain Blast features students and faculty leading hands-on and interactive exhibits that highlight the wide variety of neuroscience research being conducted at St. Lawrence, to teach individuals of all ages about brain function. The goals of Brain Blast are to increase public awareness of the benefits and progress of brain research and to inspire and excite the neuroscientists of tomorrow.

Activities include demonstrations on sensation and perception; the brain and concussions; memory tests; and much more.
