St. Lawrence To Host Free 'Brain Blast' Event For All Ages
CANTON - It's there all the time, controlling literally everything that you do, even your thoughts. But when was the last time that you could say you were actually aware of your brain?
St. Lawrence University will mark the Society for Neurosciences celebration of Brain Awareness Week with a free "Brain Blast" on Friday, March 27, from 3 to 5:30 p.m. in the lobby of the
Johnson Hall of Science. The event is open to the public free of charge and all ages are welcome.
St. Lawrence students in neuroscience and biology will present and demonstrate at the event, which will include optical illusions, smell tests, two-point discrimination, "build your own neuron," "color your brain" and presentations of original research.
