Bird Expert Sibley Visits Biology Class

Noted ornithologist David Sibley visited students in taking BIO 218 Ornithology class, taught by Susan Willson, associate professor of biology.

Sibley spent an hour with students during their lab session exploring the Kip Tract. They found numerous birds, including a brown creeper and its nest, a hermit thrush, the first warbler of the season (a pine warbler), and a winter wren.

Sibley was visiting locally as part of SUNY Canton's speaker series.
