My research interests: 

My research is on African literature, particularly literature from Zimbabwe. I am interested in the political and cultural conditions which affect African writers and which they address in their work.

Senior theses on Virginia Woolf, Wole Soyinka, and Ngugi and Postcoloniality

Some ways I connect with students outside the classroom: 

I enjoy talking with students as they plan for including study abroad in their academic careers and talking with them when they return.
