Biology Professor's Cat Study Featured in ADK Life

Associate Professor Susan K. Willson will attempt to quantify whether putting a colorful harlequin collar on a domestic cat reduces its toll on wildlife.

Scientists from the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute and the Fish and Wildlife Service estimates that free-ranging domestic cats kill 1.4 to 3.7 billion birds and 6.9 to 20.7 billion mammals annually in the United States.
