A List 1/31/00 BLACK HISTORY MONTH CELEBRATION PLANNED AT SLU CANTON -- Black History Month will be celebrated at St. Lawrence University with a variety of performances, events and activities scheduled throughout the month of February. Highlights of the schedule follow: February 6: Opening ceremonies, 5:30 p.m., Sykes Common Room February 11: Poetry reading and discussion of the life of Langston Hughes, with Class of 1999 graduate Manulito Loman, assistant editor of The Challenger newspaper in Buffalo, New York; 7 p.m., Room 10, Carnegie Hall February 11: Performance by blues musician K.J.
