BLACK HISTORY MONTH CELEBRATED AT SLU

CANTON -- A number of events have been scheduled at St. Lawrence 
University to celebrate Black History Month. All are open to the 
public, free of charge.
	Events scheduled include:

February 20              Yaron Svoray -- "In Hitler's Shadow"-- Svoray 
has infiltrated several neo-Nazi groups in the U.S. and Europe. His presentation
is a platform for exposing racial hatred. Gulick Theatre, 7:30 p.m.
Free tickets are available at the E.J. Noble University Center.

February 26	Skin Deep: Interracial Conflict and Community on 
Campus -- Skin Deep chronicles the eye-opening journey of a diverse and 
divided group of college students as they awkwardly but honestly confront 
each other's racial prejudices. A panel discussion will follow with 
members of the Black Women's Residence and the Louis Ray House of 
Brotherhood. University Center Formal Lounge, 8 p.m.	

February 28	"Who Do You Think You Are?" -- An interactive forum 
related to issues of race and culture.  Organized by the Office of 
Multicultural Affairs and Intercultural House, Intercultural Floor 
Lounge, Sykes Residence Hall, 7:30 p.m.
