Author Of Children's 'Corduroy' Books At St. Lawrence Bookstore

CANTON - B.G. (Barbara) Hennessy, author of the popular series of children's books about the bear named Corduroy, will read from her work and sign books at St. Lawrence University's Brewer Bookstore on Thursday, April 9, from 2 to 3:30 p.m.

Based on a character created by Don Freeman, Hennessy has written a series of "lift-the-flap" books about Corduroy, as well as the book Corduroy's Lost and Found. She is the author of more than 30 books for children, and attended St. Lawrence.
