SLU HELPS CANTON MAKE IT A BANNER CELEBRATION – St. Lawrence University recently 
purchased 10 banners for the town of Canton's Bicentennial celebration, in honor 
of the Class of 2006 – the year that the University will culminate celebrating 
its Sesquicentennial, or 150th anniversary. The banners will be placed throughout 
Canton for the celebrations. Shown in the photo, from left, are Bicentennial 
Committee member Clark Carvel; St. Lawrence Treasurer and Vice President for 
Finance Kathryn Mullaney; Bicenntennial Committee Co-Chair Judy Liscum; and 
members of the Class of 2006 Timothy Akers, of Williamsville, NY; Elizabeth 
Salomon, of Palmyra, NY; Courtney Ellis, of Jericho, VT; and William Timbers,
