The Associated Colleges of the St. Lawrence Valley presents the first of two organ recitals that will be held at SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music, which has made space available to St. Lawrence University’s organist and musician-in-residence Sondra Goldsmith Proctor during the current restoration of Gunnison Memorial Chapel.

The recital will feature the music of composers Gilles Leclerc and Rachel Laurin of Ottawa, as well as Maurice Duruflé, a French composer and organist, and Michael Sitton, the Crane School’s Dean.

The performance will take place at 12:15 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 11, at SUNY Potsdam’s Hosmer Hall. Admission is free and open to the general public.

A second performance will take place at 12:15 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 2, in Hosmer Hall, celebrating the grand masters of the organ Herman Berlinski and Charles-Marie Widor.
