April's 'Noon In The Chapel' Recital At SLU Features Jazz

CANTON - "Jazz in the Chapel" is the theme for the next "Music for Brown-Baggers" recital, to be held on Friday, April 23, at 12:15 p.m. in Gunnison Memorial Chapel at St. Lawrence University. The event is open to the public and those attending are encouraged to bring a lunch to enjoy along with the performance.

The recital features the Ad Hoc Singers - Alexandra Jacobs, Lansing Laraway, David Norenberg Julia Pomainville and Laura Ramsey - with Tim Savage on piano, David Katz on bass and Chris Biles '13 on percussion.

Familiar tunes, including "Autumn Leaves," "Fever" and selections by Duke Ellington and James Van Heusen. This recital is the last "music for brown-baggers" event of the academic year.
