TWO JOIN SLU ALUMNI/PARENT PROGRAMS STAFF

CANTON - Robert E. Larrabee, of Canton, and Barbara K. Knauf, 
of Heuvelton, have been appointed to positions on St. Lawrence 
University's alumni and parent programs staff.
	Larrabee, a 1997 graduate of St. Lawrence, begins his duties as 
assistant director of alumni and parent programs July 30. He will 
coordinate "phone-a-thons" for fund-raising; undergraduate giving; 
fund-raising among graduates out of St. Lawrence four years or 
less; and five-year Reunion planning. Most recently employed as a 
sales representative for Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, Larrabee 
worked from 1997 through 2000 at the University as head defensive line 
coach for football.
	Knauf, also an assistant director of alumni and parent programs, 
will begin her duties on August 13, with responsibility for Reunion logistics; 
coordination of 30th and 40th Reunion planning; maintenance and development 
of the department web site; and fund-raising for the Classes of 1960 through 
1974. Currently project coordinator of The Alumni Plan (TAP) at Clarkson 
University, Knauf formerly worked at St. Lawrence in the academic dean's 
office, University communications and the president's office. She is a 
graduate of George Mason University.
