American Shakespeare Center Performing At St. Lawrence


CANTON - The American Shakespeare Center brings its "Tempt Me Further" tour to St. Lawrence University for performances of Twelfth Night, Love's Labours Lost and The Duchess of Malfi October 25 through 28. Tickets, at $5 each, are on sale in the Brewer Bookstore and Sullivan Student Center on campus. All performances are in the Common Room of Sykes Residence Hall and will be preceded by a half-hour performance of live acoustic music. The performance schedule is:

- Thursday, October 25, 7:30 p.m., The Duchess of Malfi
- Friday, October 26, 7:30 p.m., Twelfth Night
- Saturday, October 27, 7:30 p.m., Love's Labour's Lost
- Sunday, October 28, 1:30 p.m., Twelfth Night

The American Shakespeare Center was founded on the idea that reproducing the staging conditions for which Shakespeare wrote can help modern audiences recover the essential vitality of his drama. From the start, the aim of the American Shakespeare Center has been not only to entertain but also to educate, and to entertain and educate as many people as possible.
