An article by Assistant Professor of Modern Languages and Literatures Zhenjun Zhang has been published in the October 2009 issue of the Sunkyun Journal of East Asian Studies. The article is titled "On the Origins of Detached Soul Motif in Chinese Literature."
The journal is published by the Academy of East Asian Studies (AEAS) at Sungkyunkwan University, Seoul, Korea.
Zhang teaches languages courses in Chinese, as well as a course on the culture of China. A faculty member at St. Lawrence since 2008, he is a graduate of Zhengzhou University, with master's degrees from Peking University and University of Wisconsin-Madison. Zhang earned the Ph.D. from Wisconsin in 2007.
