Students looking for a late-night study spot -- as well as a snack -- can have both without missing a single computer beat.

Computer hook-ups are now available in the Underground, the all-night venue in the E.J. Noble University Center, allowing students to plug in laptops and access the campus network and the Internet from the space. There is also an on-site computer station.

In addition to making a wide range of software programs available from the campus network via the hook-ups, the system also allows students to log on to the Internet, send e-mail and have a new place to complete or work on assignments. The Undergound is the site of the very popular "SLUp All Night" program, designed to provide alternative entertainment to the campus community. The venue's food bar has a variety of snacks, including fruit smoothies, quesadillas, raviolis, nachos, yogurt, and more.
