An academic journal in Brazil has published book reviews written by students who participated in a workshop in translation taught in the fall of 2002 by Professor of Modern Languages Steven White.

Cadernos da Tradução, a journal from the Federal University of Santa Catarina in Brazil that specializes in literary translation, has published book reviews by Amanda Morrison '03, Nell Ketchum '03, Martha Oldfield '03, Melanie Adamsen '03 and Nicole McManus '04.

The journal has published other works by White's students in previous editions.
