Tracey Cross-Baker '90, associate director of
career services at Ithaca College, has been elected president of the College
Student Personnel Association of New York State, Inc.(CSPA).
CSPA is an organization "committed to advancing the knowledge and
personal and professional development of a diverse group of student
affairs educators at public and independent colleges and universities
across New York. This 365-member organization also provides
high-quality, local and national professional development opportunities
to its members and student affairs colleagues across the state."
After serving as both an Advisory Board member and Member-at-Large for
CSPA, Cross-Baker was co-founder of CSPA's Student
Affairs Managers-In-Training initiative. As president, she is now
responsible for the organization's member services, public relations,
strategic planning, and leadership development. During her tenure,
Cross-Baker has initiated new opportunities for membership
involvement in leadership initiatives, including a brand-management
campaign, a comprehensive professional development program and
collaboration with other student affairs associations.
Cross-Baker is a resident of Dryden, New York, along with her husband,
Stuart '89 and children Douglas and Chloe.
