Eight St. Lawrence students and two administrators spent
spring break 2005 as volunteers at the St. Francis Inn, a Franciscan
living and working community in the inner city of Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania, to help in its soup kitchen and women's center.
In addition to volunteering their time at the St. Francis Inn, the
students collected from the University community a variety of items
needed by the organization, and donated the goods to those served by the facility.
