Shelley McConnell

An article by Assistant Professor of Government Shelley McConnell has been published in the February 2010 issue of the journal Current History. The issue is devoted to topics related to Latin America. McConnell's article is titled "The Return of Continuismo?"

McConnell, who also teaches courses in the University's Caribbean and Latin American Studies program, worked for nine years as senior associate director of the Americas Program at The Carter Center, helping promote democracy and peace with former President Jimmy Carter and 34 other former presidents and prime ministers from the Western Hemisphere.
