A board meeting of the Student Conservation Association (SCA) provided an
opportunity for a gathering of St. Lawrence alumni and friends, several of whom
serve on the association's board.
During the board's meeting in Maine in June of 2006, members participated
in a conservation service project with an SCA high school conservation crew,
in Acadia National Park. Of those in the photo, Gilbane, Stearns and Prescott
are SCA board members. Gilbane is the owner of Garden Design in Rumford, RI;
Stearns is communications associate, for National Campus Compact, Amherst, MA;
and Prescott, vice president of the SCA board, is a vice president of L.L. Bean
in Freeport, ME. Holley is vice president for advancement of the SCA.
