Sarah Fincke '09, of Hampton Falls, New Hampshire, will compete in the New England Equitation Finals, to be held October 21 to 23 in Springfield, Massachusetts. Fincke, a 2005 graduate of Berwick Academy in Maine, competes in the hunter/jumper category.

In September, Fincke competed in and won the Maine Equitation Finals. To qualify for competition, riders must win the medals class in other competitions during the season. Fincke and her horse Paddington, ride for Cressbrook Stables in Stratham, New Hampshire, and has won the New Hampshire Equitation finals in previous years. She has also earned spots on the Challenge of the States team at the New England Finals.
