St. Lawrence University's chapter of Rotaract, the Rotary Club's organization for college students, recently was awarded a Presidential Citation, for activities conducted in 2008-2009. It is the only chapter in this district to win the award this year.

Members of the St. Lawrence chapter accepted the award, given on a competitive basis and with the recommendation of the sponsor club president, at a meeting of the Canton Rotary Club which also had President William Fox as guest speaker.
