A St. Lawrence University graduate is among the Republican party "strategists" serving as sources for news media covering the legal battle for the White House.

Scott Reed '82 is a Republican political consultant and ran Bob Dole's 1996 campaign for the presidency. The St. Lawrence government major has been quoted in a variety of news outlets, including The Los Angeles Times, USA Today, The Washington Post, The New York Times and Business Week. Reed has also appeared on cable channel CNBC's "Business Center" program, discussing George W. Bush's possible strategies after he takes office.
