St. Lawrence's chapter of Pi Mu Epsilon, the mathematics honor society, recently welcomed 12 new members to the organization, with an induction ceremony on February 16, 2011.
New members, pictured above from left to right, are Cassidy Griffin '12, Laura Byer '11, Jeremy Moulton '12, Kerrin Ehrensbeck '13, Torrey Hayden '13, Benjamin LeBlanc '13, Thomas Pasquali '12, Steven Vargo '11 (in front), Michael Scott '13 (in back) and James Virnelli '11. Matthew Raley '11 and Lauren Brozowski '11, were also inducted, but were absent forthe photo.
St. Lawrence's chapter of Pi Mu Epsilon, New York Epsilon, was established in
1935. The national organization is "dedicated to the promotion of mathematics and recognition of students who successfully pursue mathematical understanding."
