St. Lawrence's chapter of Pi Mu Epsilon, the mathematics honor society, recently inducted 18 new members.
New members in the Class of 2011 are Shane Hoffman, Alden Bush, Nancy Decker, Ryan Meyer and Olivia Birdsall.
Inducted from the Class of 2012 are Katherine Polido, Bradley Williams, Hannah VanParys, James Curro, McKayla Nuffer, Robert Romeo, Thaddeus Pitts, Danielle Roslevich, Emma Obernesser, Caitlin McArdle, Shane Berghorn, Jennifer Dyment and Maryn Manning.
St. Lawrence's chapter of Pi Mu Epsilon, New York Epsilon, was established in
1935. The national organization is "dedicated to the promotion of mathematics and recognition of students who successfully pursue mathematical understanding."
