Twenty-five students were inducted into St. Lawrence's chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, the national academic honor society, on April 25.

Election to Phi Beta Kappa is based on grade-point average and completion of appropriate credits toward a St. Lawrence University degree. To be considered, students must earn a 3.5 or better cumulative grade-point average by the close of their junior year, and have completed six semesters at St. Lawrence. Transfer students must have completed four semesters before they are eligible for consideration.

Newly elected students are Katherine A. Powers, Michael J.C. Bierce, Rebekah J. McCluskey, Brittany A. Misercola, Amy L. Bolis, Lauren M. Sischo, Xi Cao, Nicole M. Butler, Stefanie E. Herschleb, Kaitlyn E. Bradley, Hai-Yen H. Nguyen, Mihnea Tudoreanu, Eric A. Kinsey, Holly M. Irion, Jennifer L. Charles, Benjamin P. Whitney, Georgi S. Ivanov, Charles P. Garrigan, Christian L. Donaldson, Neil K. Coutinho, Kristen R. Henry, Kristen E. Bednar, Amanda B. Pendergrass, Amanda C. Seeberger and Rachel Manchester.
