Paul Doty

Electronic Services Librarian Paul Doty is among the 25 finalists in the 2011 Mississippi Review's Prize for Poetry. The works of the winners and finalists in fiction and poetry make up the winter edition of the journal.

Doty's poem is titled "Box Kite." The editors state, "Response from poets and fiction writers across the country was terrific and there were many wonderful submissions that were remarked by readers and final judges alike as eminently publishable." Established in 1995, Mississippireview.com is among the oldest and most popular literary magazines on the web.

In addition to his duties as a librarian, Doty also teaches occasionally in the Unviersity's First-Year Program.
