U.S. Trust, a New York City a wealth management company that provides planning,
investment management, fiduciary and private banking services, has announced
the promotion of Pamela Sweet '95 to vice president.
Prior to the promotion, Sweet was a relationship manager in U.S. Trust’s
Stamford office, with responsibility for the comprehensive wealth management
of client relationships including portfolio construction, financial, estate
and retirement planning. Before that, she was an assistant vice president
and junior portfolio manager. Sweet joined U.S. Trust’s Investment Department
in 1995, working closely with senior portfolio managers and performing
specialized research for the firm’s chief investment officer.
Sweet graduated magna cum laude from St. Lawrence with a B.A. in economics,
and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She was also a member of the economics
honorary, the mathematics honorary, the swim team and Chi Omega sorority.
A North Country Scholar and Dana Scholar, Sweet participated in the University's
program of study in Vienna.
She received an M.B.A. in finance and management from New York University’s
Stern School of Business in 2001. Sweet is attending the Cannon Financial
Institute’s Trust Schools and will complete her designation as a Certified
Trust and Financial Advisor in August of 2005.
