A profile of Associate Professor of Physics Aileen O'Donoghue in the
National Catholic Reporter won the paper a second-place prize in a
national competition.
The story, "Sacred Starry Night," by Renee LaReau, won second prize in the
Best Personality Profile/National Newspaper category of the 2006 Catholic
Press Association Awards. The award was one of many won by the
National Catholic Reporter, including the first-place general excellence
award for national newspapers.
