Associate Professor of Physics Aileen O'Donoghue and Emily R. Knox '03 are co-authors of article published in the July 2006 issue of Astronomical Journal.

The paper is titled "Contributions To The Nearby Stars (NStars) Project: Spectroscopy Of Stars Earlier Than M0 Within 40 PC-The Southern Sample," and appeared in Vol. 132, No. 1 of the journal.

Knox earned her St. Lawrence degree in physics and was a member of the physics honorary, Sigma Pi Sigma.
