Nigel Fellman Greene '09, of Medfield, MA, the president of the SLU Coalition
on Climate Change, is the winner of the national "Hot Spot" video contest
sponsored by the League of Conservation Voters. The 30-second video he
made will be sent to presidential candidates, and he's being sent to the
New York Live Earth concert taking place on July 7.
Fellman Greene shot his 30-second video spot at St. Lawrence's Canaras Conference
Center in the Adirondacks and posted it on the video-sharing site YouTube. The
contest called for videos to convince presidential candidates to make global
warming a priority in their campaigns, and eventually, in their administration.
The winnning video will be sent to all presidential candidates.
A biology major, Fellman Greene participated in the Adirondack
Semester and is a
member of the campus chapter of Democracy Matters.
