Television viewers riveted by one of the latest "reality" offerings got to see a St. Lawrence graduate in action. Robert Montgomery '82 is among the doctors seen in episodes of ABC's "Hopkins 24/7."

Montgomery, a surgeon at Johns Hopkins Medical Center, was featured in the sixth and final episode of the documentary series that gave viewers unprecedented access to one of the world's top hospitals; Johns Hopkins was recently voted the best hospital in America -- for the 10th consecutive year -- by U.S. News & World Report. According to the network, the show's producers "set out to demystify modern medicine, showing doctors in rare moments of candor and vulnerability as they share their most closely held thoughts on work, patients and life itself."

During the episode, Montgomery discusses and performs a kidney transplant.
