Three St. Lawrence University McNair Scholars participated in the 20th Annual California McNair Scholars Symposium, held at the University of California, Berkeley. The symposium celebrated the academic accomplishments of McNair Scholars representing colleges and universities from around the country.

The four-day event afforded McNair Scholars an opportunity to present the results of their faculty-mentored research project. Terry Cox '14, Omaru Kabia '14 and Tishara Joseph '13 were among the 250 students giving presentations. Scholars also met with graduate program representatives and learned more about the graduate school admissions process.
