Four St. Lawrence students and six members of the mathematics, computer science and statistics faculty gave presentations at the Joint Mathematics Meetings held January 4 through 7 in Boston.
Lauren Stemler '12 gave a talk, titled "Representations of Graphs modulo $N$"; Cassidy Griffin '12, Richard Powell '12 and Brendan Gorman '12 presented a poster, titled "Obtainability of Strong Orientations: Creating an Efficient Network of One-Way Streets."
Cummings Professor of Mathematics Patti Frazer Lock, Jack and Sylvia Burry Professor of Statistics Robin Lock, Assistant Professor Daniel Look, Martha E. '62 and Gregg E. Peterson Professor of Mathematics Duncan Melville, Associate Professor of Statistics Michael Schuckers and Assistant Professor Sam Vandervelde also gave presentations.
