Lukasz Niparko '13, a global studies major from Poznan, Poland, presented research at the 34th Annual Global Studies Conference held at the University of Nebraska at Omaha October 6 through 8, 2011.
Niparko's paper, "Kerala, Paradise and Limbo: The Story of a Place Where High Social Standards Do Not Originate From Economic Growth," resulted from research conducted in India as part of the St. Lawrence summer study trip led by Assistant Professor of Global Studies Jayantha Jayman and Professor of English Natalia Singer.
