St. Lawrence mathematics majors Dennis Lock '08 and Richard Torres '09 recently presented results of their research at the National American Mathematics Society-Mathematics Association of America meeting in San Diego, CA.

Lock, of Canton, NY, presented his work in Biometric Identification, completed over the summer while working with Assistant Professor Michael Schuckers. Torres, of Brooklyn, NY, presented his work in Knot Theory, completed as a McNair Scholar, under the direction of Associate Professor Maegan Bos.
