An article titled "St. Lawrence University: Experiential Learning Communities - Dialectics of Ideas and Experience" by Vice President of the University and Dean of Academic Affairs Grant H. Cornwell '79, professor of philosophy, and Professor of English Eve W. Stoddard, has been published in Learning Communities in Liberal Arts Colleges, a monograph series of the National Learning Communities Project.

The National Learning Communities Project is supported in part by The Pew Charitable Trusts and is part of The Washington Center for Improving the Quality of Undergraduate Education at The Evergreen State College, in cooperation with the American Association for Higher Education.

An article titled "Wagner College: Learning Communities for the Practical Liberal Arts," by Wagner College President Richard Guarasci, former St. Lawrence professor of government and director of the First-Year Program, was published in the same volume.
