Three honor societies for languages recently held induction ceremonies hosted by the modern languages and literatures department, with a total of 19 students being welcomed into the organizations. As part of the ceremonies, each student read a poem in their chosen language.

St. Lawrence's Eta Delta Chapter of Pi Delta Phi, the national French honor society, welcomed Michael Badali, Alexandra Burger, Elizabeth Choiniere, Kyle Donaldson, Madeline Garone, Maura Hamel, Teo Jackson, Stella Leach, Ante Letica, Emily Merrifield, Charlotte Noordsy and Madeleine Poole.

Michelle Gilbert was inducted into Eta Omicron Chapter of Delta Phi Alpha, the German national honor society.

Theta Mu Chapter of Sigma Delta Pi, the national collegiate Hispanic honor society, inducted Lauren Bowie, Mercedes Case, Suncica Habul, Ashley Hartz, Laurel Lovelett and Kyla Sener.
