Works by Assistant Professor of Fine Arts Kasarian Dane are included in the 62nd Exhibition of Central New York Artists at the Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute in Utica. The exhbition runs from February 6 through May 2, and Dane will give a gallery talk on Wednesday, March 10.
The exhibition includes work from 31 artists, from 26 of New York's counties, with assemblage and collage, ceramics, drawing, installation art, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, video and some "hybrids" represented. The Exhibition of Central New York Artists is a biennial event open to professionals working in Albany, Broome, Cayuga, Chenango, Cortland, Delaware, Fulton, Hamilton, Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, Madison, Montgomery, Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego, Otsego, Rensselaer, St. Lawrence, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Tioga, Tompkins, Washington and Warren counties.
