Jordan Marks '12
Jordan Marks '12, of Rouses Point, NY, will participate in an internship in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, this summer, through the Freeman Indonesia Nonprofit Internship Program. The program provides an opportunity for American and Indonesian students pursuing U.S. undergraduate degrees to intern together in an Indonesian nonprofit organization.
A multilanguage and global studies major, Marks is a graduate of Northeastern Clinton Central School. He has studied in Spain and France.
Marks, with an Indonesian student, will be an intern at a non-governmental organization called IDEA, which deals with issues of energy and education in the region. On 10 U.S. and 10 Indonesian students are accepted for the nine-week program.
