James D. Clifford '90 has been named vice president of acquisitions for Linear Retail, a retail real estate acquisition and operating company in Burlington, Massachusetts.

In this position, Clifford is responsible for the underwriting, due diligence and sourcing of retail acquisitions. He joined Linear Retail in January, 2004. Clifford earned his St. Lawrence degree in government, and was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity. He earned an M.B.A. with a concentration in finance from the William E. Simon School at University of Rochester. Additionally, he has completed coursework at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
