St. Lawrence students participating in semester- or year-long study in France were
the subject of a feature story in the regional French newspaper L'Éclaireur
Brayon.
The 15 students began their study by living with host families in the Pays de Bray
region for two weeks. The article includes a photo of the group, with program Director
Roy Caldwell, and quotes Zelda Martinez '09 and Cornelia DeLee '09, as well as several
host "parents." Students lived in Gournay-en-Bray and Forges-les-Eaux, exploring
the region and its culture. The story notes that both "les Américains"
and "les Français" enjoyed their participation in the program, and plan to
stay in touch even after the students move on to complete their study in Rouen.
