A St. Lawrence University graduate has successfully prosecuted a major court case in New York City against a gang leader.

Edgar N. ("Ned") Fox III '69 is an assistant district attorney for Kings County and was the lead prosecutor in the case against a founding member of the East Coast Bloods, which The New York Times called "one of Brooklyn's most feared gangs." The man was convicted and sentenced to 25 years-to-life in prison.

Fox earned a degree in English from St. Lawrence and is a member of the Alumni Lawyers Association.
