Two science journals recently published research co-authored by R. Sheldon '68 and Virginia H. Johnson Associate Professor of Biology Joseph Erlichman and St. Lawrence graduates, all of whom where Erlichman's students when the research was conducted.
The September 2009 issue of the Journal of Neurophysiology includes the

Retrotrapezoid Nucleus in Rats: A Test of the Astrocyte-
Neuron Lactate-Shuttle Hypothesis," by Erlichman, Amy Hewitt '03, Tracey L. Damon, '05, Michael Hart '06, Jennifer Kurascz '05, Aihua Li (Dartmouth Medical School) and Leiter.
